GENERAL INFORMATION: In the latter portion of Matthew 25 Jesus impresses upon His disciples the importance of caring for those in need. We live in a difficult and challenging world. We are surrounded by those who are hungry, hurting and - in many cases - without shelter and clothing. VCC takes this responsibility seriously and the actions of our members speak much louder than words. Listed below are some of the opportunities for service within this Ministry. COMMUNITY PANTRY Each Tuesday, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the doors of our Ministry Center are opened to community. Food supplies are provided to those in need, without obligation or explanation. In early 2010, VcC became a registered agency with the Arkansas Food Bank and the majority of our supplies are purchased from this organization.
CHILDREN'S HOMES INC. This congregation regularly supports the efforts of Children's Homes, Incorporated of Paragould, AR through financial and physical assistance. Let us know if you would like to be a part of this via financial donation or as a part of our annual weekend mission trip. We will be having a special contribution for Children's Homes on 11/1/2020 to help with their coin shortage!
CONTRIBUTION If you are here because you want to give, there will soon be an option to give securely online! For now, you can send your contribution to: P.O. Box 836 Vilonia, AR 72173
COVID-19 PROTOCOL/UPDATES As our situation with the Coronavirus is constantly changing, the elders are heeding the advice that the officials are recommending. We want everyone to stay healthy and safe! For those who are at risk, care for someone at risk, or are possibly exposed, we understand your need to stay home- especially if you are not feeling well! We have a virtual option via facebook that live streams all of our Bible classes and services and we welcome you to join us virtually. For those who choose to join our services in person, we have implemented several strategies to keep you safe! We have the combination communion cups to limit contact during The Lord's Supper. We have a team that cleans the entire church building several times each week, including door knobs, songbooks, bathrooms, etc. We have also spread the rows of chairs so that there is six feet distance between each row. Those who attend VcC services in person are encouraged to wear a face mask and to keep six feet of distance from others, limiting handshakes and hugs. Please be mindful and respectful of others during this crazy time!
